Wildcats Part of MHL Week of Reconciliation

The November 26 home game against the Fredericton Red Wings takes on special significance this month, as that evening the Jr A Wildcats are promoting the ‘Every Child Matters’ campaign.  Everyone at the Wildcats organization has taken a clear stance in support of Indigenous rights and the path of reconciliation, as well as remembering those who were lost and affected by some of the tragic events of the past.  Being able to take part in such an important campaign is a privilege to all involved.

Once again this year, the Wildcats will be partnering with the MHL on this league-wide initiative.  The team will wear a uniquely designed jersey for this game night and later auction those jerseys off in the community.  All funds go towards support of ‘Every Child Matters’.  The Wildcats are also honored to have the presence of representatives from both Annapolis and Glooscap First Nations to take part in pre-game ceremonies.

In the spirit of supporting youth, the Wildcats are inviting every child aged 12 and under to attend this home game free of charge.  There will also be giveaways at the door and ‘Every Child Matters’ draw prizes taking place throughout the evening.

Come support the Wildcats in this important cause on November 26, Kings Mutual Century Centre, Berwick.  Game time 7pm.
