The Valley Wildcats have made a trade with the West Kent Steamers on June 7, 2023. Colin Parker, 20 years old is coming back to the Valley in exchange for a conditional 7th round pick in the 2024 draft. He played for the Wildcats in Bantam and Midget from 2016 to 2020.
Parker, from Newport, Nova Scotia, has played last season with the South Shore Lumberjacks and had 7 goals and 14 assists for 21 points in 36 games. Originally drafted by the Pictou County Weeks Crushers 29th overall in 2019, Colin Parker has also played with Pictou County and Fredericton.
