The Bage Valley Wildcats have acquired defenceman Cole Bent from the Chaleur Lightning in exchange for Joseph Breen, a 2026 7th round draft pick, and future considerations.
Bent, a 2008-born defenceman from Halifax, NS joins the Wildcats after spending the past two seasons with Cole Harbour in the NSU18MHL. Last season with the March & Mill Co Hunters, Bent suited up for 35 regular season games, producing 29 points (6G, 23A) to go along with 126 penalty minutes.
You may remember Bent being in a Wildcats uniform last season, suiting up for the Wildcats on an emergency-loan basis for 3 regular season games, scoring 1 goal in those 3 games. Bent also is a draft pick of the Halifax Mooseheads, and appeared in 2 regular season games with the team last season as an affiliate player.
