The Bage Valley Wildcats have acquired forwards Kevin Walker & Micah Tucker from the Truro Bearcats in exchange for the rights to forward Brody Dawson and a 2027 3rd Round Draft Pick.
Walker, a 20-year-old with 41 games of QMJHL experience & 90 games of MHL experience joins the Wildcats after spending last season with the Bearcats, producing 18 points and 61 PIMS in 48 games played as well as 3 points in 10 playoff games. Prior to last season, Walker played the entirety of the 2023-24 season with the Charlottetown Islanders, suiting up for 41 regular season games as well as 1 playoff game. Prior to junior hockey, the 6’2″ 176lb Walker played two seasons with the Cape Breton West Islanders of the NSU18MHL.
Tucker, a 2007-born forward comes to the Wildcats after finishing top-10 in NLU18MHL scoring, finishing the 2024-25 season with 37 points in 31 regular season games with the Pinnacle Growlers. Hailing from Portugal Cove, NL, the left-shot forward makes the jump to junior hockey after completing three seasons of U18 Major hockey with the Growlers, combining for 80 points in 95 regular season games played.
