The Bage Valley Jr. A Wildcats are excited to announce the acquisition of 2007-born forward Aiden Clowater from the Miramichi Timberwolves in exchange for a conditional 2027 8th-round pick.
Clowater joins the Wildcats after spending his rookie season with the Miramichi Timberwolves, where he recorded 2 goals and 3 assists for 5 points in 46 games played, while also adding 20 penalty minutes.
Prior to making the jump to Junior A hockey, Clowater spent three seasons in the Nova Scotia U18 Major Hockey League with Steele Subaru and the March & Mill Co. Hunters. Over 122 career games at the U18 level, he totalled 42 goals and 50 assists for 92 points, along with 74 penalty minutes.
“Aiden was somebody that we really liked heading into the draft last June. Unfortunately, Miramichi selected him before we had the opportunity, so to be able to bring him to the Valley less than a year later is exciting for our organization. We’re eager to see Aiden arrive at camp in August and show everyone what he’s all about.” — General Manager/Head Coach Jesse MacLean
Welcome to the Valley, Aiden!
