Valley Acquires Nick Deagle from Campbellton for Future Considerations

BERWICK, NOVA SCOTIA – The Valley Wildcats, proud member of the Maritime Hockey League, announced today they have acquired defenceman Nick Deagle from the Campbellton Tigers for an 8th round draft choice in 2020.
The 19-year-old Iqaluit, Nunavut native was a rookie with the Tigers last season, scoring a goal and three assists in 39 games. Deagle played his midget hockey in Charlottetown, P.E.I.
“Nick really adds to our depth,” said Wildcats G.M. Nick Greenough. “He can play both defence and forward, so he adds some versatility to our line-up and gives (coach) Travis (Young) more options.”
Deagle will report to the Wildcats today.
The Wildcats kick off their regular season 7 p.m., Thursday at Pictou County.
