The Bage Valley Jr. A Wildcats have acquired 2009-born goaltender Jack Bell from the Amherst Ramblers in exchange for 2008-born goaltender Will Cole.
A native of Antigonish, Bell has spent the past two seasons with the Cape Breton West Islanders of the Nova Scotia U18 Major Hockey League.
During the 2025-26 season, Bell posted a 7-9 record with a 3.97 goals-against average (GAA) and a .888 save percentage (SV%) in regular-season action. He elevated his play in the postseason, recording a 3.51 GAA and an impressive .927 SV% while posting a 2-2 playoff record.
In his rookie U18 Major season, Bell finished with an 8-8-1 record, a 3.37 GAA, and a .887 SV% in regular-season play. He followed that up with a strong playoff performance, posting a 2.22 GAA and a .940 SV% in two postseason appearances.
Bell is also a draft pick of the QMJHL’s Halifax Mooseheads.
