The Valley Wildcats have acquired forward Nathan Casey and a 2024 5th round draft pick from Fredericton in exchange for forward Tyler Totten.
Casey, a 2004-born Grand Falls, NL native spent last season split with both the Victoria Grizzlies of the BCHL, and the Fredericton Red Wings putting up 16 points (7G, 9A) in 40 games played. “Nathan is a natural leader, and will be relied upon in all facets on and off the ice” says GM Brandon Benedict. “He’s very versatile, and is the type of player who makes others around him better.”
Welcome to the Valley, Nathan!
The Wildcats also add to their draft stock, acquiring a 5th round pick (originally owned by Edmundston) in next week’s MHL draft, which will be televised on Eastlink Community TV Channel 10/610, as well as streamed free of charge on their YouTube page beginning Saturday June 15th at 9am.
