The Bage Valley Wildcats have acquired goaltender Sawyer Russell from the Truro Bearcats in exchange for a 2025 5th round draft pick & future considerations.
Russell, a 2006-born goalie from Fredericton, NB, has started in 11 combined Jr. A games this season with both the Trenton Golden Hawks (OJHL), and Edmundston Blizzard, holding a 9-1-0 record.
The full-right goaltender joins Corbin Votary as the two rostered goalies. Will Cole has left the team to finish the season with the March and Mill Co. Hunters (NSU18MHL).
