TRADE: Wildcats Acquire Goaltender Bergeron, Forward Hussey from Ramblers

The Bage Valley Wildcats have acquired goaltender Gabe Bergeron and forward Connor Hussey from the Amherst Ramblers in exchange for goaltender Xavier Farrah.

Bergeron, a 2005-born goaltender from Calgary AB, comes to the Valley in this his first season in the MHL. In 4 starts with the Ramblers , Bergeron has recorded a 3-1 record, with a 3.68 GAA to go along with an .872 SV %. Prior to the MHL, Bergeron started in 24 games with the Sicamous Eagles of the KJHL, recording a 16-7 record with a 2.65 GAA to go along with a .903 SV %.

Hussey who hails from Paradise NL, joins the Cats after splitting this season between both the Pictou Crushers and Amherst Ramblers. In 21 combined games this season, the 2006-born Hussey has recorded 7 points (5G, 2A) as well as 8 PIMS.
