The Bage Valley Wildcats have acquired goaltender Corbin Votary from the Haliburton County Huskies in exchange for future considerations.
Votary, a 20 year-old from Napanee ON, has appeared in 69 career games in the Ontario Hockey League over the span of the last three seasons with the Owen Sound Attack before beginning this season in the OJHL with the Huskies. During his time in the OHL, the 6’2″ southpaw recorded a record of 23-26-6 with a 4.33 GAA, to go with a .868 SV%. In 17 games with the Huskies this season, Votary carries a record of 10-5-0, with a 3.22 GAA & .891 SV%.
