The Bage Valley Wildcats have acquired defenceman Nikolas Mokriakov from the Grand Falls Rapids in exchange for defenceman Joe Wiseman.
The left-shot defenceman from Halifax, NS joins the Wildcats after splitting last season with both the Summerside Capitals and Yarmouth Mariners. In what was his rookie season, the 6’4 19-year-old defenceman suited up for 42 regular season games, producing 1 goal, 7 assists along with 41 penalty minutes.
