TERRITORIAL DRAFT: Wildcats Select Seaman as 2025 Territorial Draft Pick

The Bage Valley Wildcats have selected defenceman Jacob Seaman with their 2025 territorial draft pick.

The 2009-born defenceman from Kentville, NS, is a recent QMJHL draft pick of the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada (Rd. 8, Pick 132), and has played the past three season with the Wildcats U15 & U18 Major teams, serving as Captain his second season with the U15 Wildcats.

After missing the first half of this past season due to injury, the 6’0″, 180lb defenceman returned for the second-half, suiting up for 16 games with the U18 Wildcats tallying 8 points (3G, 5A), along with 22 penalty minutes, adding 1 assist in 4 playoff games.

Known for his offensive abilities and skill with the puck, Seaman adds elite talent to the Jr. A Wildcats back-end.

Welcome to the Jr. A Wildcats, Jacob!

The Wildcats have chosen to not use their second territorial draft pick this year, therefore are awarded a compensation draft pick in this year’s 2025 MHL Draft, bringing their current total picks to 8.

The 2025 MHL Entry Draft takes place at 10am this Saturday June 14 from Grand Falls, NB. Fans are able to watch the first round LIVE on EastlinkTV (Channel 10/610). Your Wildcats look to make an early splash, currently holding 3 of the first 5 picks of the draft (1, 3 & 5th overall).
