NOW HIRING: Wildcats Searching for Equipment Manager & Athletic Therapist

The Bage Valley Wildcats Jr. A Hockey Club are actively searching for a full-time Equipment Manager as well as a full-time Athletic Therapist for the 2026-27 season, with the opportunity to begin work effective immediately.
The Equipment Manager will be responsible for
– Managing all aspects of team equipment, including maintenance, inventory and logistics
– Skate sharpening
– Laundry
– Setup bench for all practices and games
– Maintain a clean and organized work space while being able to communicate clearly with players & staff
Remuneration will be discussed during the interview process.
This role requires a proactive individual with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience and/or knowledge in hockey settings is considered an asset.

The Athletic Therapist will be responsible for
– Provide intervention and care of injuries occurring at all practices, games and trainingsessions.
– Assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of player injuries.
– Assess/recognize the potential of a sport-related traumatic brain injury/concussion, and have knowledge of Hockey Canada’s concussion protocol guidelines..
– Reassess the status of injuries, illnesses, and/or health-related conditions.
– Organizing and scheduling doctor’s, or physio appointments for players as needed.
– Order and manage inventory of all medical supplies and equipment.
– Keep, maintain, and prepare effective and accurate records for Hockey Operations budget
– Maintain detailed and accurate medical records and charting for each player
