The Bage Valley Wildcats have hired Thomas Durant as an Assistant Coach effective immediately.
Durant, who hails from Halifax, NS, joins the Junior A Wildcats after serving as an Assistant Coach with the U15 Wildcats the past three seasons, as well as the Goaltending Coach with all three Wildcats teams within the organization (Jr. A, U18, U15 Major).
Thomas has six seasons of coaching under his belt, as well as three years of experience coaching within Hockey Nova Scotia’s High Performance Program.
“I cannot be more excited to join the Wildcats Junior A program.” says Durant. “I am looking forward to getting started with upcoming draft prep, as well as furthering my relationships with the players.” “I am excited to work alongside Dave and his staff to help continue to build a winning culture within the Junior A program here in the Valley.”
Durant will continue his role as goaltending coach within the organization at all three levels this upcoming season.
