The Bage Valley Jr A Wildcats are excited to announce that Kim Leonard has joined our team as our Education Advisor.
Kim who is a long time resident of the Annapolis Valley has an extensive background in teaching and working with young students to help them achieve their academic goals.
After graduating high school from West Kings, Kim went on to study Math & Computer Sciences at Acadia University. While going to Acadia she worked at the Computer Centre as an Academic Consultant. Once her time at Acadia was complete she then moved on to Dalhousie University where she obtained her Bachelor of Education.
Once her academics were completed Kim moved back to the Valley where she became a teacher at West Kings High School along with Pine Ridge Middle School. While being a full time teacher she also worked as a Math tutor which she still does to this day.
“We are very excited to be able to add the role of an Education Advisor to our organization this coming season. It will be a huge benefit to have someone in a role to help our players with their academics while playing at a high level of hockey.
