Junior A Wildcats – Season Award Winners

As the Valley Junior A Wildcats 2019/2020 season came to an end, the team gave out awards to several players. Four awards were presented on the ice at the Wildcats’ final game of the season on March 7th. Three other awards were given out at a team and volunteer reception the following day.

Rookie goalie Chad Arsenault won the IPC 3 Stars Award. He was named one of the three stars of the game seven times this season, which led all Wildcats players.

20 year old goalie Aaron Brunn received the Fan’s Choice Award, voted on by fans.

Defenceman Brant King won the Wildcats’ Scholastic Award.

Cole Kirkup was named Team MVP. Kirkup led the team in points with 9 goals, 24 assists, and 33 points, as well as penalty minutes with 202.

Team Captain Donavon Beatty was the Player’s Player Award Winner. The award was chosen by his teammates.

The award for Community Involvement was presented to Dylan Matthews. Dylan donated a lot of his time to helping minor hockey in the Valley.

And Riley MacInnis was named the winner of the Unsung Hero Award. After joining the team late this season, MacInnis scored 9 goals and 15 points as well as 120 penalty minutes.
