Welcome back, Wildcats fans!
Your Valley Junior A Wildcats are on home ice this Saturday, February 13th, 2021 at 8pm vs the Summerside Western Capitals. Following a pause in league play, the Maritime Hockey League recently returned to action with Valley playing a home game on February 6th with no fans in attendance. Beginning this Saturday, fans will once again be allowed in the stands, but only to a maximum of 200. Those 200 fans will be split into two separate pods of 100 each, just like the two pod system employed by the club back in October and November.
200 fans is only half the capacity the Wildcats were previously allowed in the Fall, so now more than ever, it’s important to make those seats count. Not only does ticket revenue benefit the club, but the volunteers who operate the canteen at the Appledome depend on revenue from concessions.
Season ticket holders are encouraged to attend the game, or give their tickets to family or friends. No one wants to see a limited supply of seats go to waste.
Limited tickets are now on sale. Fans are strongly encouraged to buy their tickets online in advance. With only 200 fans permitted, the game is expected to sell out. Tickets will only be available at the door before the game if any are remaining.
All previous safety rules around COVID-19, observed by the team and fans at games in the Fall, are still in place.
-Masks are to be worn at all times. Masks can be removed to allow fans to actively eat or drink, but otherwise, masks must be worn at all time, even when seated.
-There is no standing room around the walking track. All fans must be in their seats at all times unless going to the washroom or canteen.
-Each pod of 100 fans has its own entrance to the arena, exit, washroom access and canteen access. Please follow all signs, arrows, and directions from staff and volunteers. Fans may not cross from one pod to the other.
