Aaron Brunn commits to Marian University (NCAA)

Valley Junior A Wildcats goaltender, Aaron Brunn, has announced his commitment to the Marian University Sabres for the 2020/20201 hockey season.

The 21 year old from Morden, Manitoba joined the Wildcats in December of 2018, transferring from the Winkler Flyers of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League, and quickly became a fan favourite. Over his two seasons, Brunn faced an average of 39 shots a night as his stellar work in between the pipes often kept his team in games.

In the 2019/2020 season, Brunn went 6-16-2-0 with a 4.05 goals against average and a 0.897 save percentage. Five times he had to face at least 40 shots, and he stopped a season high 52 shots on September 20, 2019 in a 4 -3 loss versus Amherst.

Marian University is located in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, and was founded in 1936. The Marian Sabres men’s hockey team plays NCAA Division III hockey as part of the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association.

The Wildcats Hockey Organization thanks Aaron for his hard work and dedication to our program during his time as a Wildcat, and wish him nothing but the best in his future education and hockey career.
